At Milantara Global Tourism, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, amendments and refunds are handled for tours, attraction tickets, desert safaris, cruises, yacht experiences, transfers and other UAE travel experiences booked through us.

This policy should be read together with the cancellation conditions shown on the relevant service page, booking confirmation, ticket or voucher.

1. General Refund Conditions

Refund eligibility depends on:

• The type of service booked

• The date and time of the cancellation request

• The individual service’s cancellation deadline

• Whether tickets, permits, vehicles or other arrangements have already been confirmed

• The applicable conditions of the service operator or supplier

• Whether the customer has already used or partially used the service

Some bookings may be refundable, partially refundable, non-refundable or eligible only for rescheduling. The applicable conditions should be reviewed before payment.

2. Cancellation by the Customer

Customers must send cancellation requests through our official email, telephone or WhatsApp contact details.

The cancellation request must include:

• Customer’s full name

• Booking reference or confirmation number

• Name and date of the booked service

• Number of travellers

• Reason for cancellation

A cancellation request is not considered approved until it has been acknowledged by Milantara Global Tourism.

The time of cancellation will be based on when we receive the request through an official communication channel.

3. Tours and Desert Safaris

Refunds for shared tours, private tours, city tours and desert safaris depend on the cancellation deadline stated for the selected package.

Refunds may not be available when:

• The cancellation deadline has passed

• A vehicle, guide, permit or other service has already been confirmed and cannot be cancelled

• The customer arrives late or does not attend

• Incorrect pickup information was provided

• The customer is unavailable at the confirmed pickup time

• The service has already started or been completed

Where permitted, we may offer rescheduling instead of cancellation, subject to availability and any applicable price difference.

4. Attraction and Event Tickets

Many attraction, theme-park, event and date-specific tickets are issued immediately after confirmation. These tickets may be non-refundable, non-transferable and non-amendable.

Refunds cannot normally be provided if:

• A ticket has already been issued under non-refundable conditions

• The ticket has been used, scanned, activated or expired

• The customer selected an incorrect date, time, age category or ticket option

• Entry is refused because the customer did not follow the attraction’s requirements

• The customer failed to bring required identification or documents

Any ticket-specific cancellation terms shown before booking will take priority.

5. Cruises and Yacht Experiences

Cancellation and refund conditions for dhow cruises, yacht tours and private charters depend on the operator’s policy, vessel availability and the cancellation time.

Private yacht or exclusive charter bookings may require an advance payment and may become non-refundable after the vessel is reserved.

Changes to the date, time, number of guests or selected package are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

6. Transfers and Private Transportation

Transfer cancellations are subject to the deadline stated in the booking confirmation.

Refunds may not be available for:

• No-shows

• Late arrival beyond the permitted waiting time

• Incorrect pickup or drop-off details

• A vehicle already dispatched for the booking

• Last-minute cancellations

• Failure to provide accurate flight or arrival information when airport pickup is requested

Additional waiting time, route changes or extra stops may result in additional charges.

7. Cancellation by Milantara Global Tourism or a Supplier

If a confirmed service is cancelled by Milantara Global Tourism or the service supplier and no suitable alternative is accepted, the customer will generally be entitled to a refund for the undelivered portion of the affected service.

The customer may instead be offered:

• A different date or time

• A comparable alternative service

• Booking credit for future use

• A refund, where applicable

Any alternative will be discussed with the customer before acceptance.

8. Weather and Events Beyond Our Control

Outdoor activities may be affected by weather, road closures, government restrictions, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Depending on the situation and supplier policy, we may offer rescheduling, an alternative service, booking credit or a refund for any recoverable amount.

Additional expenses or indirect losses, such as transportation, accommodation or missed connections arranged independently by the customer, are not covered unless required by applicable law.

9. No-Shows and Late Arrivals

A booking may be treated as a no-show if the customer:

• Does not arrive at the confirmed time and location

• Cannot be contacted using the provided details

• Misses the confirmed pickup

• Arrives after the tour, transfer or activity has departed

No-show bookings are normally non-refundable because the service and capacity were reserved for the customer.

10. Approved Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the booking.

For payments made through Stripe, the refund will be submitted through Stripe after approval. The time required for the amount to appear in the customer’s account depends on Stripe, the card provider and the customer’s bank.

Milantara Global Tourism cannot control additional processing time required by banks or payment providers.

11. Refund Amounts and Deductions

Where applicable and disclosed, a refund may exclude:

• Services already delivered or partially used

• Non-refundable tickets, permits or reservations

• Supplier cancellation charges

• Bank or currency-conversion charges

• Payment-processing costs that cannot be recovered

• Other non-recoverable costs incurred for the confirmed booking

Before processing an eligible partial refund, we will explain the refundable amount and applicable deductions.

12. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a customer believes that a payment was charged more than once or that an incorrect amount was processed, the customer should contact us promptly with the booking reference and payment details.

We will review the transaction and refund any verified duplicate or incorrect payment where appropriate.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy when our services, supplier arrangements or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with its revision date.

Changes will not normally alter the confirmed cancellation conditions of an existing booking unless required by law or accepted by the customer.
